The conference venue is Castle-Hotel Petry in Treis-Karden, a village on the Moselle river. From there, Cochem, an idyllic medieval town with many tourist attractions, can be reached in 15 minutes by car or train.

The nearest airports are Cologne-Bonn (CGN) and Frankfurt (FRA). In either case, it takes less than 2.5 hours to get from the airport to the conference venue by train (see below).
